The Voodoo Rooms were transformed into a fashion haven last weekend for the highly anticipated “Voodoo Vogue” event, all in aid of Cork ARC Cancer Support House. The glamorous night, hosted by RTE Today Show Stylist Caroline Downey who stunned in a pink organza one-shoulder dress, and her co-host, Red FM’s Colm O’Sullivan, kept the audience entertained and engaged throughout the evening.
The event showcased stunning fashion from local boutiques including Phoenix V, Vanilla Lane, Mimi Nell, and Serena’s Boutique, with models from Catwalk Modelling Agency gracing the runway. The show was not just limited to the ladies, as local gentlemen Glenn, Ciaran, Callum, and Ryan volunteered their time to model for Red Church Menswear and Fox & Co., adding to the evening’s charm.
A highlight of the night was the Best Dressed competition, which saw the stunning Helena Brosnan take the title. She impressed the judges, including award-winning stylist Mandy Maher, with her unique style, wearing a beautiful organza dress paired with ankle boots and a blue coat. The ultra-glamorous Amelia O’Driscoll also received a special mention for her gorgeous look, earning her the accolade of Best Dressed.Tony Forde, Director at Voodoo Rooms, expressed his delight at the success of the event, stating, “What a fantastic night. We are known for being a nightclub in Cork; however, after Friday night, I think we will be known for having a really great event space. We are delighted with the night and even more delighted to have raised €2000 for Cork ARC, a very worthy charity.”The night concluded with attendees dancing the night away in the Voodoo Rooms, capping off an evening of fashion, fun, and philanthropy. The €2000 raised will support Cork ARC Cancer Support House, an amazing facility dedicated to meeting the needs of cancer patients.
